Despite being a $1,500 or so Windows app, Adobe has done a fairly good job with Photoshop on iPad Air, and I think it’s the best iPad-only Photoshop that’s ever been. I love the iPad Pro aesthetics, and I salute the design team that’s been brave enough to create a whole different kind of application for the tablet from the iPhone and Mac.

The next tool that we found really helpful is the Clipping Mask tool. It allows you to apply colored shapes over other shapes in an image. You can create pretty impressive designs with this tool. This is a really cool tool and you can use it to create and apply backgrounds to projects. The tool also allows two different views. One that is in the foreground and the other is the background. This allows you to see exactly what you’re working on. The only downside to this tool is it is a bit hard to figure out. You can get by without it but it does require a bit of practice to get used to the toolbar and to know where every option is. We wish it was a little easier to use for a brand new user.
