Has any users noticed that the ctrl-up/down shortcuts don’t work in the smart sized dialog when scaling in 2x? It seems only ctrl-up/down works in the smart sized dialog while ctrl-down/up would work after scaling up the image.

Strange behavior when opening a PSD in Preview if you have a image in a note or in a gallery. If there is at least 1 image inside the preview firefox jumps to fullscreen mode and you can´t get back and see the previews as usual (even with clicking and dragging in the upper bar) – but in chrome it works as normal.

Not so great progress comparing to the old behavior. Also strange behavior when opening a PSD in Preview in Web. Can´t get the very useful hyperlink menus on the left and that is highly annoying if you work blind with another document open. Also the file browser is the same as in Photoshop (symbolic links – not very good) so if you import a PSD you can´t see the links if you are in the timeline and you can´t drag and drop them. A lot of things most of them very bad.

I have been an avid user since about version 6 and I am a pro user. I use CS6 all the time and use other apps that support the same features, but the lack of stability and missing workflows have driven me away. I was giving the old CS5 a go and maybe I just didn’t have a “final” version installed, but there is something that is broken that quickly felt “off” to me, and not by some hidden feature. I love the new features, but I was more into discipline and organization than I am now, and CS5 works really well for that. I have used it in a web context for probably over a year without any issues of crashes.

Creative Cloud Libraries have been upgraded with a new, easier structure based on Creative Cloud Storage folders, no more jumping between folders to manage assets and images. Libraries can now be removed from Photoshop CC and the program will prompt you if you try to open one from a previously used folder.

The new version of Photoshop is available now as a subscription on Mac, Windows and iOS. Pre-releases are available on the Photoshop.com and Creative Cloud sites as of December 17, 2019; no later than January 24, 2020.

A number of features which make your life easier have been added with this latest release. Highlights include a revamped Quick Selection tool and a new X-Clipboard, which will make it easier to copy and paste content across the design tool suite.

The latest update to Creative Cloud offers a number of new features including the ability to open RAW files and retain the file’s original quality whenever exporting to Darktable and Lightroom. Photos can be converted to black and white while retaining 99% of the original file’s color space.
