this movie has a lot of great special effects which is a good sign for the marvel universe. the special effects help the movie and the fights are more entertaining in the scenes where the fights are fought by multiple characters. everything in the film is cgi, which is ok, but it really doesnt do the fights and stunts any justice. the magic is also really just good for the most part, but again, its not emphasised. the character was too smart to be a comic book hero. he was never going to have super-powers, but he still had a lot of smart dialogue. he was also the only character in the film with good chemistry with his love interest. the only real weakness is that they didnt have a villain worthy of kaecilius intelligence. it would have made the scenes with him a bit more interesting

it is a movie i really like, even though the sorcerer supreme had been discussed before. the script is full of great lines, a lot of problems with casting and the movie has some good effects, but its also a pretty predictable story. the movie is very eurocentric as the main protagonist is a white guy, while not stealing anything from the property. its just a good story that moves at a decent pace, and i look forward to seeing where the movie goes in the next movie.

what really impressed me with this movie was that it felt like a big budget movie. its a marvel movie, so its going to have some budget behind it, but it was nothing like spider-man or avengers. it felt like a $70m movie with lots of special effects and high budget special effects that makes it really entertaining.

doctor strange is a great movie that will keep movie watchers entertained. this is an excellent movie to watch. from the level of the cgi, to the makeup effects, the cinematography and the overall production values, this movie is great. the effects in the movie are great too. benedict cumberbatch is perfect as the title character. the role is very hard, for it requires acting skills which the title character needs to display. however, he did a fantastic job in portraying the role. the ancient one, portrayed by tilda swinton was also a fantastic portrayal of a powerful and mystical character. overall, doctor strange is a great movie to watch. it was a story that audiences will enjoy thoroughly. we recommend this movie to every audiences.
the movie works better when the villain is a dark mirror of strange. kaecilius is evil, a wicked version of strange, but he is rather dumb so its easy to see why strange is more interesting to watch. a lesser villain would have made the film less interesting and kaecilius also plays a key part in the plot. the film also could have used a better explanation for the villains magic. if he was really using other forms of magic this would have made his abilities seem less impressive but if he was invoking some kind of alien technology, that would have been cool as well.
dormammu is a good villain for the movie as there is no love interest or nice character to take some of the focus off his bad guy side, although strange argues with him a bit it isnt really a character interaction. its a good idea to give every character a key to the movie and dormamms is also the fastest and easiest character to use and has the most impact in the film. the only issue is the main cast is only together for the first part of the movie, so its hard for dormammu to come along and be the main focus.
